Sitting in a gite in the Hérault (34) department, Languedoc-Roussillon region. This green beast of Provence came in and sat on our shoulder while we were working on the morning's photos.
We took the green beast out to the terrace table for a few ID photos before continuing our work.
Then, an afternoon's stroll down the country lanes to the nearby village of Galargue [map], and we happened upon this seemingly mechanical version of the same species, and couldn't resist a comparitive photo.
